Denise Murrell
Community Relations Officer
Denise’s strong interpersonal and communication skills make her the ideal community relations officer at Wind Power. She brings with her years of experience in dealing with people from diverse backgrounds, often negotiating outcomes under difficult circumstances.
As a community relations officer, Denise supports the Director of Communications to implement stakeholder and community engagement plans. This involves liaising with members of the community on wind energy projects and listening to their issues throughout the Development Approvals and Construction phase. Denise also prepares regular communications including newsletter production and updates on project websites.
Denise is also Wind Power’s in-house training co-ordinator which sees her identifying staff professional development requirements and coordinating staff training.
Denise has formal qualifications in Human Services as well as Workplace Assessment and Training.
