Project Officer

Joining Wind Power in late 2007, Hugh is a key player in developing Wind Power’s environmental management systems to meet the Clean Energy Council’s best practice guidelines.  This involves establishing processes, structures and preparing documentation for accreditation.
Hugh works across all business areas within Wind Power.  Not only does he provide general project support on all wind energy projects, he is also responsible for reporting and ensuring that environmental and regulatory compliance is achieved by operating wind farms. 
Prior to joining Wind Power, Hugh undertook a placement with the Wycombe Group where he gained valuable experience in project management and supervision of building contractors.  Working on site with the construction team, he amassed skills and knowledge in liaising with contractors, sub-contractors and architects as well as completing technical tasks.

Hugh is currently in his penultimate year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and a Diploma in Modern Language (Chinese), and is a student member of Engineers Australia.
