Vaughan HulmeKerry Yu
Director of Communications

Kerry is a specialist in strategic communications, stakeholder and community engagement, government relations and issues management.  
Since 2007 Kerry has supported Wind Power in developing and implementing effective community and stakeholder engagement plans.  She formally joined the Wind Power team in 2008 as the Director of Communications.  Building on her work on community and stakeholder relations, Kerry now manages the corporate communications of the company, provides government and issues management advice, and represents Wind Power on the Clean Energy Council’s Wind Energy Directorate.
Kerry was previously an Account Director at Socom, a Melbourne-based public relations agency, where her campaigns have received several international and national industry awards.  She has also been a senior policy adviser for Victoria’s peak local government body.

Kerry holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Chinese and a Masters of Public Policy and Management from the University of Melbourne.  She is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and an alumni of the Cranlana Foundation.
