Peter LausbergPeter Lausberg
Director of Planning

Peter Lausberg has been actively involved in developing wind energy projects across Australia since 1999.  He joined Wind Power in 2001 as the Director of Planning, a position which he continues to hold today. 

Peter has an impressive track record, having overseen the development of numerous wind energy projects. 

Applying his extensive knowledge and experience in the industry, he is primarily responsible for identifying suitable sites for wind energy developments and driving prospective projects through the multitude regulatory and developmental processes in the Development Approval phase.  His work is based on robust feasibility studies and accurate assessments of a wide range of environmental and technical issues.

Peter continues to utilise his talent for wind energy development and has amassed an impressive pipeline of quality future developments.

Peter was previously managing director of the BLG Group of Companies, specialising in large-scale development projects in South East Asia.  He has 24 years experience in corporate management, business development, project management and project planning. Prior to joining Wind Power, he was the Managing Director of Leeuwin Energy Limited, developing wind energy projects in Western Australia.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Landscape Architecture) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
