Peter Marriott
Project Engineer
Peter joined Wind Power in 2004 while he was studying for his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne. Upon completing his tertiary qualifications at the end of 2006, he became a full-time Project Engineer at Wind Power and Manager of Wind Power Management – a subsidiary of Wind Power Pty Ltd.
As the manager for the Wonthaggi Wind Farm, Peter is responsible for the overall running and operations of the wind farm. This involves ensuring that all contractual and regulatory obligations are met, as well as monitoring environmental aspects of the wind farm to ensure that it meets the high standards expected.
Peter provides project management support on developments during the commercialisation phase, including project scheduling and overseeing wind monitoring systems. He also delivers technical advice and support on important contracts such as wind turbine, balance of plant specifications and any other associated infrastructure works.
Peter is a member of Engineers Australia.
