Bald Hills (104 MW)Development approval granted December 2006Consists of two distinct areas of the Bald Hills. The first is an elevated site approximately 90 metres above sea level and approximately 10km kilometres from the coast. The second area is located on the south end of the Bald Hills approximately 2km from the coast. |
Wonthaggi (12 MW)Operational, owned by Regional Wind Farms Pty LtdLocated 3km from the Wonthaggi Town center in the Shire of Bass in Gippsland Victoria. There are 6 wind turbines built on 120 acres of rural zoned flat grazing, which traverses land behind sand dunes and a foreshore reserve. |
Lexton (38 MW)Development approval granted January 2007Consists of two distinct areas between 2km and 8 km southwest of the township of Lexton, located approximately 44km to the northwest of Ballarat. |
Tuki (100+ MW)Pre-feasibility stageThe wind farm site is located in the area approximately 9.5 km north of the township of Smeaton towards Clunes, which is located approximately 37km to the north of Ballarat. |
Stockyard Hill (564 MW)Pre-feasibility stageThe wind farm site is located approximately 45km west of Ballarat in Victoria’s central highlands. The proposed wind farm encompasses the area approximately 5 km south of the township of Beaufort down to approximately 4 km north of Skipton, centred around Stockyard Hill and Lake Goldsmith. |
